LUIS GARAYALDE that class of artists who do not stitch without a thread, who at all times know what they are doing and leave nothing to the whim of chance, although sometimes their decisions may seem unusual or out of place. And if, in addition, after a consecration in the underground, we see him doing his thing with NEBARI, it leaves us even more surprised.

NEBARI is the project of Luis Garayalde, Booker, promoter and resident DJ of the El Sótano club (Madrid), member of Mentho, Kyodai, bassfort, Wagon cookin and many more, which covers a wide range of electronic sounds.

Its futuristic approach is reminiscent of Chicago productions from the late 1980s.The songs that are recorded on this album show Luis's particular way of understanding the sound, located at the opposite end of what is commercial, what works, what works: what he does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and glows, with melodic traces and blurred textures, pursuing a serene, spiritual, almost ascetic expression. All those languages and influences from which they drew dialogue on this record, creating new, different and highly evolved sound organisms. Sparkling rhythms from TR 707, huge bass lines and classic modern textures, accompanied by atmospheres that instantly transport you to a deep night scene.

The idea that drives this album refers us to one of the crucial attributes of music, and it is its inexhaustible capacity to generate moods that protect us at all times. Its meaning remains in the hands of lovers of electronic music, beyond the dance floor and all hedonism.

NEBARI can and should be listened to as a portion of timeless music, which transmits a positive idea in times of conflict, and its aesthetic appeals to the most basic, deep and receptive of the spirit.

Aquél que comenzó su andadura allá por el 97 con sus primeras formaciones con su hermano, vease Kyodai o Wagon Cookin, ahora regresa con un nuevo proyecto llamado Nebari. Y es que Luis es especialista en hacer temazos especiales para hacer que la pista de baile siempre obtenga un sonido renovado. 

Del EP de 2 originales que lanza en Melómana, os estrenamos el segundo, titulado Kakkoii. Electro bizarro en la que las vocales le dan ese punto gamberro que tanto caracteriza a los lanzamientos de la etiqueta.
