Mentored by Sharon Osbourne, Honey G was the most talked about contestant on The X Factor 2016, performing tracks by her hip-hop heroes including Missy Elliot, Will Smith, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G and Run-D.M.C.

With huge ambitions to take the hip-hop world by storm, Honey was welcomed back as the first ever X Factor contestant to perform a full length track in the Wembley final, despite not being in the Final Three. 

Her debut single, The Honey G Show - released through Sony on 23rd December 2016 - puts the record straight on Honey’s life-long ambitions to be ‘big in the game’ and includes the lyrics “When I was a little girl growing up in Weezy, listening to Snoop Dogg, Dre and Yeezy. Trying to make it to the top, Mama told me to never stop”.

Honey G will also be performing this single when she takes to the stage on the X Factor Tour in February 2017.  Despite only bursting onto our screens this autumn, 2016 has indeed been The Honey G Show, with the artist being one of the most Googled people of the year.

Honey G is no stranger to music, having grown up in a musical family playing piano and guitar and memorised the raps from the whole of the Snoop Dogg 'Doggy Style' album when she was teenager.

Honey followed her music passion to gain a degree in Popular Music and Recording, specialising in music technology, studio production and composition from Salford University. Whilst at University in the early 2000’s, Honey launched her own club night called ‘Luvibe’ in Manchester which was all about showcasing Black Female talent.

​

After mixing for only 4months she made her 1st appearance at Club Abbyss in Ayia Napa and gained a DJ residency at Gas Club in the summer of 2000  as well as DJing at many venues on the UK Garage Scene. Honey came runner-up in the National Student DJ Competition sponsored by Ministry of Sound and later appeared on Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

Leonardo d’Augelli, aka Leo Dauge, is an Italian film director and singer-songwriter. He made his debut in 2024 at the David di Donatello with the film Torino Criminale blood revenge, in 2020 he released the single “Maledetta Luna” together with Lollo Push. After a three-year break he released the singles Ammor Mij, Sanguino, Perdo la testa sung together with “Nem mc” and other songs. With his dramatic sentimental style Leo tells of tormented love in his songs.
