Dj and starting recently to produce, MARKUSE was born in Barcelona in 1981. At a very young age of 13, he discovered a new world, a world of electronic music. Since he can remember, he has always felt a strong connection with this music genre, showing interest in different styles, including 90’s techno, house, progressive and trance.

And in year 2000, he found his inconditional love for Techno music.

In 2004 he discovers whole new perspective of music and starts to explore this world from the other side of the decks. This is when he realizes that there is so much more than listening and dancing to techno, he discovers the magic of making his own sessions.

His techno and techouse sessions have always been for his friends and personal pleasure, until 2010, when he has his first opportunity of mixing music in a small afterclub in Barcelona.

Starting as a hobby, his passion grows as MARKUSE has the pleasure of DJing at different venues in Barcelona and Tarragona such as Smoking dog, Shelmos, Mandawa, Miau, Chiringuito de la Marbella, Chiringuito de la Rotonda de Mataró, Sala Metro Amposta (la club), and several private parties.
His own pleasure was seeing all the enjoyment and sensations that his sets created in the clubbers in front of him.

Ride gives him the opportunity in 2015 to be one of the resident DJs of the club, in a very ambitious project, which is committed to the most underground techno scene in Mataró.
From the residency at Ride, MARKUSE shared a booth with DJs of the level of SNTS or FLUG, offering in their sets, forceful, progressive techno, and a unique versatility to offer and transmit the best sensations to the public, seeking the perfect connection with the people.

Now after 8 years in the shadows, but transmitting his passion for music to a small minority, he is starting a new project, with the same passion as when he was 13 years old, and with the same strength and humility as when he started in the world of the DJ.

Dj, iniciandose en la producción, MARKUSE nace en Barcelona en 1981. A una edad muy joven, a los 13 años, nació para él un nuevo mundo, la música electrónica. Desde sus principios en la música electrónica, ya notó una pasión y ha estado interesado por varios estilos musicales, desde el techno de los 90, pasando por el house, progressive y trance. A pesar de ser un enamorado de varios estilos dentro de la música electrónica, se da cuenta de que siente un amor incondicional por el techno en el año 2000.
En el año 2004 empieza a descubrir el mundo del dj, tocando por primera vez unos platos, y es en ese momento cuando se da cuenta de que hay algo que le llena mas que escuchar techno, y es hacer sesiones de techno. Sus sesiones tanto de techouse como de techno, siempre han sido para su uso personal, amistades y fiestas entre amigos, hasta que en el año 2010 aparece una oportunidad para pinchar en un pequeño after de Barcelona.
Siempre desde una vision de pasión y hobby por el mundo del dj, MARKUSE ha pinchado en locales de Barcelona y Tarragona. Salas como Smoking Dog, Shelmos, Mandawa, Miau, Chiringuito de la Marbella, Chiringuito de la Rotonda de Mataro, Sala Metro Amposta (la club), y en varias fiestas privadas.
A pesar de no haber pinchado en salas de primer nivel, jamas le ha importado, ya que lo que realmente le importa es llegar al corazón del público.
Ride le da la oportunidad en 2015 de ser uno de los Dj residentes de la sala, en un proyecto muy ambicioso, que apuesta por la escena techno mas underground en Mataró. 
Desde la residencia en Ride, MARKUSE compartió cabina con Dj's del nivel de SNTS o FLUG ofreciendo en sus sets, techno contundente, progresivo, y una versatilidad única para ofrecer y transmitir las mejores sensaciones al público, buscando la conexión perfecta con la gente.

Ahora después de 8 años en la sombra, pero transmitiendo su pasión por la música a una pequeña minoría, arranca un proyecto nuevo, con la misma pasión que cuanod tenia 13 años, y con la misma fuerza y humildad que cuando se inició en el mundo del Dj.

I'm a free party style DJ, shaped by the underground tribe that welcomed me onto the scene over a decade ago. 

I kicked off my mixing journey last year by swapping trades for lessons! Music has captivated me for as long as I can remember, and now there's nothing I enjoy more than mixing and spreading the love with music from the scene.
