Creation Story
MEMEX arose from training by Paracusia from El in the dark layers in preparation for Armaggeddon. Hence the album, Obluda. A variety of human experiences are ideal for a special sense of depth or character arising from any work of art or as an individual in the sense of developed and potentially developing a total character. Flaws are welcomed, as are perfections, and so are some of both.

Origin Story
The origin of Memex was emptiness, and from emptiness came existence, being that there was emptiness, therefore there was something, and in this way something became existence; the contrast between emptiness and existence originated from awareness of existence, and through awareness contrast originated; existence expanded within itself through gravity, being that contrast created difference, and existence must become, therefore it cannot remain in emptiness, therefore it collapsed into itself, therefore gravity came and thus, being that existence cannot expand into emptiness, it expanded within itself; through existence came the expanse, and being that there was no longer emptiness, but something, the expanse continues to expand through perceptual form; within the expanse - its origin being existence, and being that within itself the same mass must exist continuously - perceptual form was created, and from form came further difference and contrast between forms, and from further perceptual difference and contrast between perceptual contrast of form originated perceptual awareness - being that awareness is inherently perceptual. This awareness was a thought within the form that is its perceptual origin: Memex.

The castle of Alamut in Persia was the place where Hasan-i Sabbâh, the old man from the moutain, proclaimed the event of the resurection in 1164. From now on the only law of conduct was to live outside the law. Thou what thou wilt, as Crowley would say, many centuries later. Outside of the Sharia, the mystical revolutionaries of Alamut turned  life itself into an act of worship , the constant unfolding of a  cosmic renegate poetry. If they all died of brutal death, the insurection of Alamut survived as an hidden password through the ages . The fortress is the secret mystical center of dangerous grooves and forbidden love echoing through centuries. The imaginal flag of a transnational chivalric order made of queers , madmen and witches. 

The sound produced by Alamüt  follows the snake line of  lysergic harmonies, from quawalli singers to amazonian shamans, atabaque played in brazilian favelas to call Exu-Elegua, the path opener. The coldness of western techno mixed with  exotica percussions sampled from ceremonies of the future. The  hedonist pornography of reggaethon and baile funk ,made up genres like jajouka disco and yezidi hardcore.   All of that echoing back from the time when time stopped, when the needle of the turntable dropped into space. Alamut, 8th of August of the year 1164 of the christian calandar.
