Jessey JC is one of these singers who have always sung since he was small. As a child he was surrounded with music of French radio and Reunion island creole records related to his parents’ origins and American symphony music as well. Since he kept on singing he quite naturally found himself in his primary school choir. As a teenager his singing style defined under the influences of such artists as Craig David, Tracy Chapman, Michael Jackson... Jessey JC begun to write songs in English and French in which you can sometimes find some influence of Etienne Daho. Once grown up he briefly colaborated with several musicians. Jessey JC recorded in studio for the very first time in August 2015 one of his own French songs called Excellence.

En français :
Jessey JC fait partie des chanteurs qui ont toujours chanté depuis tout petit. Enfant, il baigne d'abord dans la musique des radios génériques et la musique créole de La Réunion dont ses parents sont originaires mais aussi la musique symphonique américaine. Chantant sans arrêt il se retrouve naturellement dans une chorale dès l'école primaire. A l'adolescence son style de chant prend forme sous la forte influence d'artistes comme Craig David, Tracy Chapman, Michael Jackson... Jessey JC se met à écrire des chansons en anglais et en français où l'on peut parfois déceler une influence d'Etienne Daho. Une fois adulte il collabore de façon éphémère avec différents musiciens. Jessey JC enregistre sa première compo studio en août 2015.

Umathazinthu is a brand more of a community which recognizes talent in artistly be it music, modeling, fashion etc. it was established earlier in 2019 when the Co Owner’ Tiidrot Africa’ came up with an idea of helping out artists who have great talent but are unable to share their art to the public due to financial problems etc.
Although this community is comprised of many artists, there are three recording artists,and a beatmaker who are signed under it with the effect of recording, branding and marketing their art.
Umathazinthu as a record label is run by Abdulrazzaaq Moffat socially known as Tiidrot Africa while the whole chief managerial program is run by Hope Magwira also known as Natty Angel.
