Michigan emcee Joose The Conqueror accepted the weight of the responsibility that comes along with being an authentic artist when hip hop found him as a kid.

Hip Hop chose him at a time when his peers were getting into trouble. This gave him something worthwhile and honest to say in his lyrics allowing him to channel his energy and frustrations into his music. 

Joose the Conqueror  is the language of hip hop, which is a language of struggle, perseverance, knowledge and understanding that still influences generations of storytellers. Joose is motivated by his desire to give a voice to the voiceless. With this drive he uses this energy to push forward for the culture and himself, and become the embodiment of perseverance.
