At only 21 years of age Sorin Rastoaca aka Egal 3, or VID as many people will know him by, already has quite a back catalogue of releases on the likes of Fear of Flying, Edec and Monique Musique. Proud of the rich heritage of house and techno that emanates out of his country, the young Romanian, incorporates his own influence on a sound that grows and grows. Here Sorin mixes MEOKO 116 with a selection of Egal 3 only material, bringing together a crop of old, current and future projects. Flowing with micro house flavours; organic soundscapes filter through minimalistic structures and rolling percussive rhythms. One to watch...

Strictly vinyl label from Berlin Dreiklang Records release their first record from three producers with “contrasting takes on the same source material, juxtaposing and unifying three particular electronic music sub-currents.” The original tech-house track “First Contact” by London’s producer OCH is re-interpreted into dub-techno wave by the Italian producer Hydergine and reaches the cinematic drone stage through the duo Kelovolt.

The release is coming up in the middle of January on a beautiful vinyl with hand-drawn designs on sleeves by Nils Altland.
