He recalls hours as a child lying in his parents' bed, meticulously turning the knobs of a small radio and exploring an endless variety of frequencies. The sheer joy of discovery, without understanding the mechanics, planted a seed that continues to flourish, with the radio remaining a cherished source of musical surprises today. The second formative experience unfolded at his grandparents' house, where a grand cabinet housed a turntable and vinyl records. The marvel of how music was stored and played on these discs, regardless of the genre or artist—often his grandparents' favorites—ignited a fascination with the format itself.
Aaron's decision to fully immerse himself in the complex world of DJing wasn't a sudden spark, but a gradual realization that music is his sanctuary. After numerous experiences within Mexico's electronic music scene, the shift to sharing music from behind the decks became inevitable. It's in this space—modulating knobs, experiencing the profound power of auditory processing, and finding focus and peace—that he continues to solidify his commitment. Like any artistic endeavor with its characteristic ebb and flow, music consistently serves as his salvation. When Aaron focuses on it, he revives its essence through pure enjoyment, discovering daily that this is where he truly belongs.
Aaron's initial encounters with the DJ world began around age 13, through advertisements featuring Technics turntables, observing how DJs manipulated the very vinyl records he once played with at home. Years later, in high school, he discovered electronic music parties through friends, embracing the sounds without initially knowing genres, labels, or producers. It was during university, at local events, that the pieces truly clicked. Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of these gatherings, his sonic compass solidified: Techno—always Techno. This genre became his foundational reference, a rich tapestry of sounds he relentlessly pursued.
Nobody is Body views his ongoing evolution as a delicious fruit he savors with every immersion in music—whether playing, producing, searching, or listening. This continuous process reveals his progress and the vast journey still ahead. Primarily self-taught, he also acknowledges the invaluable guidance of mentors, yet his evolution is most evident in the originality of his work, approached with pure joy rather than ego. While he holds immense admiration for countless labels, producers, and DJs, his ultimate focus remains on the music itself. If a track captures him, if it can transport his audience on the dancefloor, it earns a place in his collection, regardless of whether it's from a renowned artist or an unknown talent. For Nobody is Body, the music is paramount.

Music has always been an essential part of Dani RC’s life. He grew up surrounded by vinyl records, thanks to his father, who often ordered batches of records by mail—unknowingly fueling the curiosity that would later define Dani’s career.

His first real musical breakthrough happened during a trip to Madrid at the age of eight, when he discovered a cassette recorded at Barraca, one of Spain’s most legendary nightclubs. Fascinated by the seamless, uninterrupted flow of music, he realized that DJing could create a continuous journey—an idea that would later shape his approach behind the decks.

Dani RC began his career mixing commercial music, playing compilation albums from Max Music and Blanco y Negro in local pubs. Over time, he built his own distinct sound, inspired by labels such as Bonzai Records, Hart House, Overdrive, and Nova Mute, with early influences including Commander Tom, DJ Misjah, and Emmanuel Top.

Throughout the years, he has witnessed—and been part of—the evolution of the electronic music scene. While he acknowledges the technological advancements and the higher quality of today’s productions, he is also critical of the excessive media focus on DJs and the impact of technology on the craft itself.

Currently, his sets are driven by releases from respected labels like Illegal Alien, Loopaina, Newrhythmic Records, and Sub Tl. He approaches every performance with a balance of improvisation and control, carefully adapting to the set time, slot, and dancefloor energy.

Dani RC is now focused on several projects, including collaborations, remixes, and his own productions, always aiming to refine his skills as a producer. He draws inspiration from artists like Orbe, David Reina, Hugo Rolan, and Jonas Koop, and from labels such as Soma, Dynamic Reflections, Semantica, and Loopaina.

His career is defined by authenticity—a DJ who sees the booth as a space for connection and sonic exploration, respecting the roots of the culture while keeping his sights set firmly on the future.

Slow Morning

Music has been an essential part of Maira Vilas' life since childhood. Growing up in a household where classical music played regularly—especially thanks to her parents—she developed a deep emotional connection with sound from an early age. To this day, electronic music is the only genre that evokes similar feelings to the ones she experienced during her years as a ballet dancer.

Her discovery of electronic music came relatively late. While living in Germany for seven years, she immersed herself in club culture as an avid listener and dancer, enjoying the scene from the other side of the booth. After returning to Galicia six years ago, she decided to learn how to DJ, driven by the desire to share her musical taste with friends. However, after her first club performance, she realized she had found a new form of personal expression—one that has led her to continue developing her craft ever since.

At first, she was drawn to melodic techno, inspired by artists such as Maceo Plex, Tale of Us, Adriatique, Sven Väth, and Laurent Garnier. Over time, her musical taste evolved toward deeper, more hypnotic and intense sounds. Discovering Oscar Mulero and the catalogs of PoleGroup and Warm Up Recordings marked a turning point in her path as a selector. Her sessions now often feature tracks from producers like Nørbak, Lewis Fautzi, Quelza, Marcal, as well as releases from the Hayes collective and the label WSNWG.

Each set by Maira Vilas is carefully constructed, with a clear narrative in mind for both the beginning and the end. While she leaves room for improvisation and reading the dancefloor, her preparation usually involves selecting different intensities and styles to adapt to the energy of the night and create a coherent, dynamic sonic journey.

Her next goals include learning music production, convinced that it will help her expand her creative language as a DJ. She also aspires to step into event promotion—an exciting project where she hopes to bring her personal vision and sensibility to the electronic music scene.
