Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

Playdate New York's Terron Darby has been an incredible force behind the scenes, in the studio, and on the decks for nearly two decades. Darby has designed professional high end studios for an esteemed list of performers and organizations that include everything from Moby to Vice Media, HBO, and NASA among others. He is also one of the original Avid instructors for their education department and has also taught aspiring musicians of all flavors at Full Sail University. It's special to have someone who has contributed so much to the growth of other eager musicians take the reign themselves. Currently, Darby has set in motion a mysterious new vinyl imprint that's a unique ode to the relationship between music and art. This label will reflect how layer after layer, Darby's music constructs a warm, intelligent vibe filled with rich-brimming strings and beautiful swelling bass lines that articulate what creating and spinning deeper shades of house music is all about. SoundPark is happy to welcome back Terron Darby as he returns for his sophomore take.

Back at the start of lockdown, label boss Man Power set the challenge to remix a track he created that day in 2 hours.

The idea behind the challenge being to set yourself limitations as a producer - be that time, or only using certain software/equipment - and to finish the arrangement completely.

The amount of stellar remixes we received was astounding and hence we've arrived at this point, a compilation of all those amazing remixes being released on the label with all profits going to NHS Charities Together.

Bio

Animal Print is a bolivian duo with many years of experience in the South American Electronic music scene. They brought to life this project, with a focus on developing a unique sound in every song; incorporating influences from their native country, alongside their passion for emotive Electronic music.

The two started their production career in 2009, having released their music on numerous labels from Europe and the Americas. In 2015 they have released the “Red Moon” 12’’ EP on Resopal Schallware and in 2018 they released their track ¨The Last Night Of Laura Palmer¨ on Kompakt Records. This track was included in Speicher 102 and Kompakt Total 18 compilations with other Kompakt artists.

Their track ¨Neon Avenue¨ is part of the 15 Years Systematic Recordings compilation with tracks from John Digweed, Marc Romboy among others. Beyond their productions, they have been featured in big festivals like Creamfields and Resistance, in addition to numerous opportunities to present their sound at top clubs throughout South America and Europe.
