From humble beginnings back in 2013, Nurtured Beatz has stayed true to the cause, pushing deep, dark sounds from underground producers. Eight years later the label winds up for its 50th release and it's a special one, with co-founder Kalm in the hot seat for a solo artist LP.

The first sampler gives a taste of what listeners can expect on the full album via two razor sharp tracks. 'DJ Music' rolls out with classic 2-step breaks, dark sub lines and a minimal but infectious hook. Bringing a dollop of funk and a pinch of grit, this one has that 1am energy locked down nicely.

We’re proud to present the next instalment of the Dispatch Blueprints series from the legendary Ink & Gremlinz. Writing music together for almost 3 decades, they have pioneered their own take on drum and bass and so they make the perfect pairing to continue the Blueprints ethos, presenting their take on classic, old skool sounds with contemporary production techniques.

‘Juno Dawn’ is a tribute to the ‘atmospheric’ tracks heard at legendary clubs like ‘Speed’. It is a direct reference to Ink’s own ARX (Architecture Recordings) sound and style, a seven minute journey through the depths of these emotive and imaginative soundscapes.

In contrast ‘Faceless’ is a nod to the ’Horsemen’ sound that Ink & Gremlinz have been part of for many years – created originally by The 4 Horsemen (Ink, Loxy, Dylan and Keaton) this tough and rolling sound found home on labels like Renegade Hardware and Metalheadz – primarily focusing on b-boy break beats, with those deep tribal and tech elements that continue throughout, developing in a continual roll out.

Known by many for his extensive back catalogue of high profile collaborations, Resound returns to Dispatch for a solo outing – The Space Talk EP.

The Finnish producer is an essential part of drum and bass whose releases span many seminal labels. M:FX is a duo consisting of the Vienna based artists Memory Effect & Martialistikz.
While heir first sonic adventures happened to be solo & not necessarily between the lines of drum & bass, both artists decided to join forces in 2019, giving new, more progressive approaches a shot.
Taking influence from a wide variety of music, they like to explore into all styles of D&B, which without a doubt shows in their tracks.
