The clouds are never too far away...

On this track, I used lots of recordings captured in Duluth last year - my friend went up to the area for a day and recorded all sorts of percussive sounds and textures - rocks, water, wood, metal, leaves - anything we could find.

The new single, "Casual", is Middle School's first offering from Quiet Hours, his EP out on August 5. Here we have a three minute appetizer. An atmospheric instrumental, full of guitars and movement. Video artist Matt Newell takes you mountainside, where the world is endless and it's all so calm.

yonderling - Two Moons

"Staying In" is the lead single of the upcoming collaborative album (of the same name) between Chris Mazuera and tender spring. While they've released songs together in the past, this October 28 release is their debut full-length. 

The title track is an introduction into the atmosphere. Recorded largely together in Woodstock, New York in March, surrounded by a dozen other musicians, "Staying In" is a testament to the interior, the creativity and the comfort that comes from being inside, both amongst friends and alone, with an instrument or a blank canvas, with a journal or a book.

Welcome to Memoir Music, a sub-label of @chillhopdotcom where we create warm and soothing soundscapes. Memoir Music is a melancholic train ride through memory lane.

Transcending genres, the cohesive aspects of the music are organic, image inducing and pleasant tracks that can be either with or without beat. Memoir Music forms its own style by combining music from different genres that share the warm feeling and make you reminisce, while making the sound accessible for a wider audience.

Layers of organic sound sourced from every day life, warm ambient layers and enticing melodies and optionally a soft beat is what defines Memoir. Memoir Music is a streaming dreamscape. A comfort zone. Something to play with headphones when you’re all alone, drifting away in to a different world.
