We're excited to welcome L.F.T. to the series. The Hamburg-based DJ and producer is well-known for his new wave, break beat, and electro tinted style which is regularly played by Helena Hauff and Alessandro Adriani among others. He's released some incredible work on labels like Return To Disorder, Tresor, Mechatronica, Eye for an Eye recordings, Osare Editions just to name a few with an album scheduled for release this year. He curates concerts at the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg and runs an experimental independent label called „Neoprimitive“. His session is an energetic electro delight, pulling inspiration from the dirty and distorted beats of The Hague with the 80's sound of San Francisco. Lock in!

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt（Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6 and Musar. 
An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre.
Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.

@tammohesselink has always been enthralled by rhythm. He explores the unknown areas in between the UK's broken beats and hypnotic trans-Atlantic techno. Hailing from a small town, he did things himself to start with and soon turned heads with his respected The Invariants label. After that began to get wider attention for its spacious and supple sounds, he went on to become a regular on Nous'klaer Audio and has just minted another new label, Real View Memory. The first EP, Borrowed Wheels, touches on percussive techno abstractions, halftime drum & bass and deep, atmospheric bass. 

All of that comes out in this week's mix. It is a 90-minute showcase of Tammo's ability to lay down body-popping rhythms. Sometimes they are silky and seductive and worm their way deep into your psyche, at others that are heavy, upfront and smack you over the head. The skillful balance between the moments of airy suspense and dense, unrelenting drums is what makes this selection so compelling.

We are delighted to welcome our first international guest to the podcast series. Hailing from Baku, currently based in Rotterdam, Ayaz caught our ears by spicing up the moody industrial soundscapes with a pinch of exotic Eastern charm, thus combining the best of both worlds in his production. 

Back in 2018, Ayaz launched Yalançı — an exquisite vinyl-only label with a leftfield ethos and a strong affinity to spoken word and mystical atmospheres. Apart from this, he has been putting out music on favourite labels such as Kump and Knekelhuis while also providing quality remixes for Exhausted Modern and Anatolian Weapons which you might have heard in our sets.

Ayaz’s podcast is a doorway to his vast sonic space and a rare chance to hear some unreleased material as we anticipate his upcoming release on one of Glasgow’s finest imprints — Phase Group.

Mix #037 comes from magnificent California based DJ and producer, Memory Clap Acid.

Hailing from the late 90’s Northern California Rave & Post Hardcore scene. Then later the experimental dance music scene of the Bay Area.  Aldo Giovanni’s involvement in fucked up & sideways electronic music started at the young age of 14 with his obsession of releases by labels DHR, Mille Plateaux, Nothing, & Rephlex. Having then turned the family Compaq Presario PC into his makeshift workstation shortly after digesting all this music. He then found a new interest in Acid House & Techno after attending his 1st Wearhouse party in Oakland Ca, where he witnessed DJ Bone & DJ Dan playing on 3 turntables. Fast forward 22 years later and he’s still making trax reminiscent of that time only a little slower & sludgier with his Memory Clap Acid project.

With releases on Marshall Applewhite’s Junted label out of Detroit & forthcoming releases on Glasgow’s Clan Destine & L.A.’s The Black Lodge.
