Chapter 1 - On The Radio

The night was so much younger than me. I was sitting in the lobby of the Hotel Ermitage, pretending to read a magazine, when I heard someone pretending to know French. There she was, making a reservation in her own adorable version of the language.
- Bonjour, j’aimerais réserver une chambre pour 2 nuits s’il vous plaît?
Grammatically correct. No more, no less. The receptionist smiled and answered her back in English. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
Her velvet skin, those eyes of ember. She didn’t notice me at all, but I knew right there and then that It had to be her. If you hear me On The Radio, this song is for you.

The 24th of May Oma Gusti Records will release a remix/duett of MISSINCAT's single Ten Lines made by artist and producer The Land Below. The Land Below is Erik Lindestad from Malmö, Sweden. Formerly a member of Stockholm duo Wild At Heart, he continues with a love for electronic beats and dreamy layered vocals. The Land Below first appeared with a cover of The Presets "This Boy's In Love". Last year saw the release of both an EP and his debut album on Swedish label Hybris Recordings. His song "Once Again" is featured in the 2016 movie "The Model" from Zentropa Entertainments. This spring sees the release of several singles, remixes and a four track EP.

On May 17th Oma Gusti Records will release the original single Ten Lines, together with the Album Wirewalker by artist MISSINCAT. Caterina Barbieri (MISSINCAT) was born in Milan but now lives in Berlin. With now three delicate pop albums on her roster, she has been touring constantly and has received a broad European audience - it's finally Scandinavia's turn! It's no surprise that MISSINCAT was so well received. Her persona, amazing songwriting and distinctive voice are an unbeatable combination. If we have to compare her with anyone, it’s Emiliana Torrini’s voice that comes closest to MISSINCAT'S.

The collaboration between MISSINCAT and The Land Below is two worlds coming together, sharing their love for emotions, harmonies and brilliant pop music, Oma Gusti Records is so proud of this unique release.
