８歳で、ささやき声しか出なくなる。20歳の頃より、大学卒業までの２年間に50曲余りを作曲。22歳よりソロ名義を「フレネシ」とし、「ささやいていても硬派」な楽曲を多数作曲。

坂本龍一氏主宰のミュージックサイト Musictree では、LiveBrain賞、ONKYO賞など、受賞多数。その類まれなアレンジ能力が高く評価される。

ミニアルバム「Landmark Theater」、７インチ「aucitron」をリリース。英語、イタリア語で作詞された本２作品（現在廃盤）は、コレクターの間で幻の名盤と噂される。

そして2009年６月に乙女音楽研究社からリリースした初のフルアルバム「キュプラ」がＨＭＶインディーズチャート１位、カレッジチャート１位を獲得するなど、大きな話題を呼ぶ。

作詞作曲、多彩なアレンジ、ＣＤジャケット、ＰＶのアニメーション原画に至るまで、作品の全てを自ら手がけ、シンガーソングライティングアニメーターという新しいアーティストのあり方を世に知らしめる。
