In this interview conducted on behalf of r/thedubgathers, cast member EclipseMT (myself) talks to one of the voice actors from the Backstroke of the West dub, Benjamin Norman Pierce, who portrayed Speaker D (also known as West Emperor).

Here we discuss topics like portraying the character of Speaker D, the hilarity of reading off of verbiage thrown into a garbage dump and then recovered, and more.

Inspired by the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft, Al-Azif attempts to explore the role of sound and music in HPL's narratives; not as a set of soundtracks to any specific story, but as an attempt to depict musically the grand themes that make HPL's corpus so ongoingly intriguing.
