Jafar curated this compilation to display a mixture of mesmerizing sounds from the old school and upcoming psytrance artists from India. To show appreciation towards the Indian psytrance culture, which he worked closely with for the last twenty-two years.

Mental Metal is the solo psytrance project of Sidharth Madhan. A veteran and well known project from the U.A.E psytrance scene. With a versatile and vast experience of over a decade mixing various genres of psytrance and having shared the stage with many world renowned artists such as 1200 mics (dj Chicago), Bombax,Talamasca,Kerosene Club,Canibal Holocaust, White Wizard,Psychotic, Micro,Hydropanic,Tryambaka, Abomination, Freeatmah to name a few. I have been consistently performing at various gigs in Dubai (Middle East)and in India at Mumbai,Bangalore and Goa and have been a regular feature at the freedom blast festival, Goa.

I first came in contact with psytrance in the year 2002 and was immediately smitten by the sound, energy and openness of the people and ever since there has been no looking back.

I play a variety of styles ranging from psychill,psygressive to progressive psytrance, morning full on and night psytrance under different projects which will take you on euphoric psychedelic journey across time and space transforming your musical vision into reality.
