Motormouth Podcast 001 - KRTM vs TRIPPED - Final Versus

Minimum Syndicat (also known as MS or M-Syndicat) are two musicians from Paris who have been making electronic noise and live performances for decades. They are known for their very unique mix of acid, rave and industrial on the one hand and cinematic, psychedelic, sci-fi landscapes on the other.

They will release their first full length on Killekill on May 10th - what a match for Killekill as a label! 
In preparation for their album they have recorded this mix. Enjoy the trip through their musical universe! 


S.C.H.O.R.L. is Minimum Syndicat's first full length album. Like some kind of bleak space opera it tells its story of lonely subaquatic outposts, Soviet droids and mantis-priests gathering. The core is spaced out electro, but it also has elements of techno, doomcore, breakbeat and industrial, one could say. "At this point subgenres are less important than in the past, it's more like the alternative electronic scene against the industry turning techno into moronic money-driven entertainment.“, they say, and right they are, so let's end this here.

The album features two collaborations with French heavyweights Umwelt and Voiron, the artwork comes from the legendary Belgian artist Elzo Durt, who made some of our strongest artworks in the past and who is a fan of Minimum Syndicat himself.
The 2x12“ is limited to 100 copies, hand numbered and comes with a silk-screen A2 poster with a version of the artwork.

MS will also be releasing a special series of digital releases called "Mutant Signal“ on their own label.

This month, Kapotcast is excited to feature Syndemic, an old friend of the Symp.tom label.

As a duo, Bob Olde Hampsink and Guido de Beer made their mark with standout releases on Dark Like Hell, Fools Forest, Chase Records, and a collaboration with Mental Wreckage on Meta4 Recordings. Plans for an EP on Symp.tom were in motion, but the project never materialized due to mother label Mid-town's unfortunate closure and the duo eventually pursued separate paths.

Now active in the house scene as Udigo and as The Undoing in the techno scene, Guido returns under the Syndemic alias for this special occasion. Expect a dynamic blend of techno, industrial hardcore, breakbeats, and everything in between - a fresh addition to our Kapotcast series!

Welcome to the 26th episode of Kapotcast, featuring none other than @Embrionyc! This versatile German producer is known for pushing boundaries, constantly exploring the limits of sound. And even that's an understatement because to be honest, he sometimes reminds me of a mad scientist at work in his laboratory. His sound design is one of a kind and spawned plenty of eyebrow-raising material on labels like @DarkDescentMedia, @Noisj, @Traumatic-Hardcore, and more recently @ThirdMovement and its sublabels.

For Kapotcast, Enrico curated a special selection from his vast collection of unfinished projects that spans over 23.000(!) tracks. From all our mixes, I think this is actually one of the most kapot so far. No tracklist this time; so just dive into Embrionyc's world and enjoy the ride!

Maurice Pinkster - known by many aliases including The Relic, Zanthrax, Cubic Nomad, Hidden Rooms, Nightshade, and half of Dual Mechanism - has been a driving force in hardcore techno since the '90s. From FIX Records and Symp.tom to Noisj and his own label Dark. Descent., his influence runs deep. We won't list all the labels because if you know hardcore, you know Maurice.
