Mental Grafik began rapping at the age 14, and though originally from New York; when he was 18; he migrated to Philadelphia where he set up shop, and engineered his own albums, among other various underground Philly artists.

That’s when Mental Grafik started a group known as The Hue-man Ethnic Movement or T.H.E.M.
I.	The Hue-man Ethnic Movement’s music could be categorized as hip-hop. Although, many fans and critics say that they haven't heard hip-hop quite like this. It’s new, innovative, intelligent, and honest. Their music deals with awareness and the emotions of just being human.

The Hue-man Ethnic Movements’ goal is to bring the planet closer together, regardless of our differences, through the inspiration of music.

In his personal life, He is the honored father of three; a 8 yr old intellectual open-minded boy named Camani, an independent energetic 6 yr old girl named Zoen, and a 1 yr old Nehemiah Akhenaten.
