Massssssive! We're starting 2015 off with a bang. 'Chief' is the explosive collabroation between NY's Thieves and Atlanta based duo ATLiens. Once we set a release date, it was hard to just sit on this undeniable weapon, so we sent it to a few famous friends and the word started to spread. RL Grime started playing it nightly to wild reaction. Skrillex then included it in a mix, and later in future Jack U sets (his project with Diplo) who's been including it in recent sets too, most recently on his BBC show 'Diplo & Friends'. The original track, has accumilated over 200,000 plays in just a few days, and is the backbone of this stellar pack, featuring remixes from talented Los Angeles based up and comer JayKode, a stomping mad mix from Australia's Senor Roar, and Hedo – one a production talent to watch, from Chile. Watch out for an upcoming remix contest, as this looks on track to be one of the songs of the spring. O-o-o-o-o-k?

The Galaxy have put out three EPs on Barong Family so far, skilfully balancing the power of hard dance music with the melodic pull of careful songwriting. Tucked at the end of their second EP from 2016, it’s possible that the waltzing ‘Moon & the Stars’ did not get all of the love and acclaim the song deserved. That is about to change thanks to an up-and-coming DJ/producer from the Netherlands by the name of Rebourne.

Having met for the first time backstage at Mysteryland 2016, the young Rebourne soon surprised the Galaxy by sending them his take on the duo’s ‘Waiting For You’, which he had remixed on his own initiative and which transformed an exotic trap track into a melodic hardstyle beast of track. The remix got an official release and led to all of them collaborating on Rebourne’s latest Phoenix EP. And to another remix.

‘Moon & the Stars (Rebourne Remix)’ takes a two year old track and injects it with a furore it didn’t have before. When stars die, they explode in supernovas. Call it a rebirth.
