The Brussel based project is ran by the Belgian producer together with Thwang, pushing a raw, old-school inspired aesthetic with classy releases from Innershades, Polarius and now the legendary DMX Krew.

Edward Upton aka DMX Krew has been one of electronic music's most prolific forces since the early 90s. With releases dating back to 1994, the UK veteran has never slowed his pace of production. Protectorate is The Analogue Cops’ project dedicated to their dance floor oriented minimalistic electro output with subtle 90s house influences and luxury beats, whose music has been release on their self named label in the late 2000 and just before the pandemic on Binh’s label Time Passages and on 3no.
On the 25th release of their label Restoration (after 15 years of its foundation), the original trippy “Someone Else” comes with a mesmerising  chicagoic heavy shuffled remix by dj Fett Burger. On the B side, the sophisticated beats and the classy arpeggios  layered over the gloomy  “Amazon Crime” comes together with the first track produced by Francesco del Garda and The Analogue Cops’; “Good Breath” (edited by Del Garda) is the state of the art of years spent behind the decks looking for the perfect combination of garage bass lines, eccentric beats and esoteric pads.

Based by sunnier shores on the South Coast of England, Cramer took an avenue into production following a music focus started from an early age.
