After their inaugural stand-out release from minimal maestro Chklte, UK Label Moonfruit Records returns with further innovative output. Making their second EP another unique trip is the exciting first outing from Real Gang’s Miller as he presents his new alter ego alias, Dracula. Three dance floor dynamic cuts all telling their own tale as the talented producer brings some fresh energy, exploring uncharted territory and a new universe of textures you may not recognize from him. Taking up the whole of the A side is “November 1992” a chugging sub bass cruises down a curious road of uncertainty. An almost sinister vocal takes you on a tour of the track, as you meander around via the form of the floaty and pensive synth work. As you become totally immersed in the track the Dracula name begins to make total sense.

The newest underground club in Barcelona, Les Enfants Brillants has launched its own label Les Enfants Records.

The debut drop sees Per Hammar delivering 2 originals followed by 2 remixes from well-renowned Romanian producer Nu Zau and Miroloja, French duo part of Yoyaku family. The side A opens up with a seductive blend of minimal and deep beats on ‘Lystopad’, followed up by Nu Zau remix where his micro house trademark sound can be perceived. Miroloja’s remix of ‘Lystopad’ kicks off the B side adding groove and a funky bassline to Per Hammar's original turning it into a more housey version, followed by ‘Pentium Dubb’, the second original of the EP.

Christopher Ledger is next up on the prolific Adam's Bite label.

The Swiss imprint has soon established them as one of the most reliable and classy collectives in recent years. After launching with a lush debut from founder Martinesque, the label has hosted a breathtaking LP from Ion Ludwig, as well as music from Barac and Traumer paving the label's vision of electronic music.

It's evident that the environment is critical for listening to this deeper strain of intricate head music. Last year, the crew hosted an extended showcase in Walzhalle with Ion Ludwig's live set, Molly, Eli Verveine and Kalabrese to let loose on the excellent sounding systems by Lambda Labs Swiss Distribution. In the early hours of one morning in 1996, Asad Rizvi (aka Silverlining) and Wiggle’s Nathan Coles found themselves marooned on the planet Wrong. They had crossed paths at many of the infamous raves that shaped London’s underground house sound, and opted to take controls at the cockpit of a Brixton studio that, in a single night, yielded ‘System Error’. The two Right Wrongans were hence born.

Their first release, ‘Not Quite Right EP’, rocked dance-floors from San Francisco to Tokyo in a short space of time. ‘System Error’ was further celebrated on Danny Tenaglia’s legendary ‘Athens’ CD. Interest has again been sparked by numerous DJs such as Petre Inspirescu and Ricardo Villalobos playing the track at gigs around Europe during the Summer of 2018. Yet, prices have inflated way beyond accessibility to mortal buyers, and hence this reissue has been chosen to inaugurate a brand new imprinted called Neotropiq. The single has been backed by the devastatingly groovy ‘Straight Ahead Then Take the Next Wrong’. Order with haste, as this one is going to go!
