We want to establish new ways to think and act collectively via sonic means. Sound’s ability to touch the listener, to involve them via emotional and physical affection, turns the sonic into a partner in the fight for a more just world. Sonic Agency is led by urgency and the pressing need for articulation. It is an effort to enable and reinforce transformative processes in our societies, while critically questioning hegemonic systems. Sonic Agency opens up space for a caring community of equals. Sonic Agency is grounded in the sonic’s ability to introduce the feeling of connectivity, and the possibility of community – a community yet to come.

I pull at the drawer and it resists me for a moment, the way things do when they've settled into themselves over time. There is that particular sound—wood sliding against wood—and then suddenly it gives way, revealing its contents with a quiet rattle. Morning light streams over each object; items that have rested in darkness since the last time I visited, their colors now vivid and startling. It is as if the drawer itself has been safeguarding small treasures meant only for me.

A club music mix cued by peculiar/unusual drum setups/patterns. Starting with 160+ bpm jungle/bass/dubstep to establish the rave tone, then dropping to 100 bpm dub/dancehall for a brief pause/rest, and then gradually accelerating to 130, 140 bpm. A mere 20 tracks covering all the clubtrax genres/categories eurton has recently liked.

eurton: A kitten ₍^. .^₎⟆ who has been holed up in their bedroom, listening to electronic music alone for 10 years. They like everything-crushing bass music and everything-moving emotional music. They initiated/are currently operating a new online music community with friends: "Melodicine ☤ 音藥."
