Failing Light is an American Metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Early in April 2013, a hard rock band, that Taddy McSausage (Vocals) and Josh Fox (Rhythm Guitar) were members of, disbanded, and after talking to a friend of theirs, Rob Gladden (Drums), they decided to start a new band that has an altogether heavier sound.  The line-up was finished when the trio invited Sean Svadlenak (Bass Guitar) and Felix Ortega (Lead Guitar) to jam with them; they clicked immediately, and began writing new material.  With influences such as Threat Signal, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Periphery, and many more, the band's compositions include groove-oriented riffs, technical proficiency, and vocals ranging from dark, monstrous growls to epic and soaring clean vocals.  The band is currently in the process of writing their debut album, and are beginning to play shows in early August 2013.
