If the British can boast of having an electronic scene of which Dave Clarke would be the figurehead, then on the French side of the Channel they can boast of having Fred Poncet aka UMWELT, talented producer and DJ emeritus who is well known in the underground since the 90s. Its visibility in France and internationally has been growing for several years, driven by its formidable productions and the quality of his vinyl-only sets. Umwelt’s production and selection of tracks in his DJ sets can be described as “dark electro” the term on which Umwelt himself commented: “Yes it's not bad, you can add drama too, it's good. I like the dark world with themes and atmospheres that give goosebumps.”

DJ BONEY S has her own rhythm in music and in life.
Before finally stepping behind the decks herself in 2020, DJ BONEY S already looked back on two decades of club culture experience.

Passionately collecting vinyl from various different genres for years, she started out as a party organiser in her native Belgium. Her behind the scenes work continued after relocating to Germany where she was heavily involved in establishing the PARALLEL nights at Griessmühle as a fixture of Berlin nightlife.

As a former booker and label head, DJ BONEY S developed her own unique taste that is first and foremost shaped by one timeless medium: VINYL. She draws from classic 90s sounds and queer techno, travelling to otherworldly electro or cold industrial beats. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes pouncing -- but always trippy -- her sets invite you to close your eyes. 

DJ BONEY S is resident of queer party SLIME (Berlin) and SOUSAMI (Cyprus), female:pressure member and publishes the PRALL podcast series. She is also one half of DJ Frottée and Hypnotist, both together with zikade.

We are thrilled to anounce a typical EKATA mix that goes on a bit of a journey. It has many styles of Electro with abit of 4x4 thrown in for good measure! This is a pretty driving mix from the beginning and will be sure to make people want to dance! It also features one of the tracks from her solo release on Censor Records.

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.
Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.

Hysteria

From the deep depths of Detroit’s East Side, comes Shawescape Renegade who sometimes go by just Shawescape or in conversations, Shaw, for short. An Electro Enthusiast to his hearts core, he’s very familiar around the corners of Detroit Electro. Shaw’s first official vinyl record debut was in 2018, releasing solely on his own, to now having his own record label, Andromeda Galaxies 313 with many future projects on the horizon, set to land in 2024 and 25. He will be in Berlin this year, all of August and September and he’s also set to head to Spain in October, looking to level the playing field with a bit more Electro on the grounds. DJ N-Hance is a Miami-based DJ born with a passion for playing and sharing music. His talents and recognition evolved throughout the years when he began to release underground mix tapes in 1990. His tapes were recognized by some of South Florida's then well-known promoters, allowing him to establish residencies throughout Miami's best-known nightclubs.

Since 1995, DJ N-Hance has been a prominent figure in the Florida Electro and Breaks scene. An active artist of the record label 808 Life, he has put out several of his own original tracks and collaborated with other well-known Florida Electro and Breaks DJs.

DJ N-Hance's unique sound and dedication to his craft have solidified his reputation as a key player in the Miami music scene.
