Bio.
A native of Casablanca, Morocco, Stranger Souma’s musical Journey started off with her learning to play multiple instruments. Enthralled by the advent and possibility of technology in music, she soon evolved into the respected DJ and producer that she is today, crafting a signature sound that is deep, minimal but decidedly soulful and spiritual, a tribute to the old soul of North Africa. Aside from being a DJ and producer, she is also co-founder of Moroccan-based record label, Volubilian Records, through which she actively champions the region's unique musical heritage, as well as greater opportunities for its female artists.

Through experiences, we tell our stories, shape our personalities, and build our perception of life.

We thus also become subject to sudden and unpredictable changes of moods and to whims and caprice of life. Like the planet Mercury, we split into two. Our one-half freezes in endless darkness, while the other half glitters with a perfect shade of orange under the rays of our one and only sun. We thus become the Mercurials. We live through different tones of life, swinging from ice to fire.

Certain life experiences evoke certain emotions, and these emotions, at once, push thoughts to the surface - thoughts that puncture our life. An experience thus turns into an anchor that we hold fast and remember forever.

Contrary to traditional music labels, Mercurial Tones is about these experiences which are simultaneously fleeting and enduring, dislocating and connecting.  

The Mercurial Tones is about us; it is about the ceaseless battle that we fight with ourselves, creating this Mercurial cacophony. And it is about our story which will resonate throughout the universe, carving out a piece of art from this formless, anarchic background.

Bass Chief is an Music Producer, having served his time on the circuit  he took advantage of the downtime 2020 provided and started his production journey, a dream of many years he had the time and passion to start creating music.

Bass Chief was inspired by German and other European and World DJ’s music/producers. Going back to the days of Love Parade, Berlin, Bass Chief was influenced by the likes of Dr. Motte, WestBam, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and many more. 
Now days he mainly create Melodic Techno 
and  House Techno or Minimal Techno.
He has great passion making music and lots of fun 😊 

Bass Chief stats:

Born in Jastrzebie Zdroj, Poland.
Currently living and working in Great Britain.
His compact studio is based on the south coast, close to Brighton and London.
