I'm really excited to finally upload my Shambhala Fractal Forest mixtape this year. It was by far the best year this year at Shambhala. I had so much fun and it was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Thanks to EVERYONE who made it to my set at 4am. I put my whole heart into this mix and it REALLY means a lot to me that you were all there to party with me!

Δ Yo Fam! Souljah boy here... Finally got around to re-recording the magic in the Nebula on Friday. Huge ups to Rafe and James Middleton for having me and for building such an inspired space to groove in. Large love to Joanna Tarnava and Mychal Heidro for the foot in the door, and an especially resounding I love you! to everyone that came intentionally or that wandered by and got sucked in. That was probably the funnest moment of my life to date so far. Such an honour to share sound with the land that started it all for me…. Oh and can't forget my partner in time, Muse-ihkal confidant and all around incredible dood. Here’s the set I made for my 9th year playing in the Fractal Forest at Shambhala Music Festival. This year has been a crazy adventure of non-stop touring around the world, but Shambhala is always the most important set for me. 

Special thanks to Blackout JA for helping me to create the “Oh Shambhala” song and his other contributions, as well as my amazingly talented friends who send me such great music, stems and acapellas to play with. Without the forward thinking creative music community, I wouldn’t be able to make sets like this. Everything is edited and changed for my own purposes, the tracklist contains all the major elements of the set.

I had a blast playing 7 sets at Burning Man this year! Here is one of my favorites, an afternoon hip hop set played at UFOm, which offers participants a chance to take part in an interactive foam and water performance piece that impressively resembles a group shower. This set was played to about 200 people, most of them naked and either waiting to get in or having just gotten out of the foam performance. Good times :)

Thanks to all the awesome people of Black Rock City who rock out with such precision and dedication. Y'all are amazing.

Its about 6:15am, Monday morning. The second monday, if you're counting, of Burning Man 2013. There's no sign of the Man, nor the Temple. The population of Black Rock City is beginning to leave, piece by piece, their dusty summer home for the default world.

Hookahdome has been rocking Sunday nights for many years, and this year was no different. It's been about nine hours since the end of the Temple burn, and Cosmic Selector of Tek Freaks has been holding it down for close to two and a half hours (Thank you Cos!). 

A few minutes of setup and a couple high fives later, I start to play. I've been working on my music for a few months, and for the first time I finally have a big crowd to hear it, and I was so excited and grateful for the opportunity.

the last time i recorded a drum & bass set it was on a cassette tape over 10 years ago. in 2012 i was finally able to return to my original love, dive into my old vinyl, and play some jungle: b2b with eats everything at bestival, b2b with totally enormous extinct dinosaurs at secret garden party, and as a guest of bachelors of science at their monthly at monarch in sf. for those of you who were not able to catch one of these rare pilgrimages back to my roots, i have recorded a special set just for you featuring a handful of my all time favorite records. happy new year and i hope you enjoy!

The National are a Brooklyn-based five-piece hailing from Ohio. The group contains two pairs of brothers -- Bryce Dessner (guitars), Aaron Dessner (bass, guitars), Scott Devendorf (bass, guitars), and Bryan Devendorf (drums) -- and features Matt Berninger on vocals. The National's music has drawn comparisons to Interpol, the Smiths, Tindersticks, and Tom Waits -- the latter due to Berninger's shattered, beautiful earthquake of a voice, which recalls the holy trinity of Cave, Cash and Cohen. However, though concerned with the forensics of heartbreak specifically and the human condition generally, the band are no mere copycats.
