Bacavi was introduced to electronic music as a student in South London's underground club scene. But it wasn't until his post-uni days, on trips to North America, Scotland, and the Lake District that Bacavi's visceral approach to making music began to take shape. Fusing dance rhythms with sweeping textures and colourful melody, Bacavi's productions express the natural world as well as the urban and underground scenes which are so commonly associated with dance music. Now based in the musical melting-pot that is Bristol, the producer is busy writing and lining up plenty more music for the remainder of the year.

Myon returns to more familiar territory with a Club Mix of 'Moon', his and Alissa Feudo's fourth collaboration. 

Mario Egeto, aka Myon, has been in our orbit for many years. He’s been responsible for some of the finest vocal anthems in the Anjunabeats archive, including a series of singles from frequent collaborator Alissa Feudo: ‘Omen In The Rain’, ‘Perfect Ghost’ and ‘The Darkest Light’. ‘Moon’ is their latest single together, and explores a new side to Mario’s production talents.

Alongside Mario’s original output, he’s contributed many incredible remixes to Anjunabeats over the years. Myon and Shane 54’s rework of Velvetine’s ‘The Great Divide’ was played by Above & Beyond at their ABGT400 celebrations, reaffirming its treasured place in our discography.

So… 

Here it is. The album that we've been talking about for over a year. Scheduling conflicts be damned, we made it happen! Yes, the process was long, and at times it was even a little grueling, but we stuck to our guns and we couldn't be happier with the results. 

Originally, we created about 16 tracks for the album, and then we narrowed it down to the songs that you have in front of you today. It was important to us that we create a collection of music that crossed multiple styles and genres, yet told a coherent story. It's not an easy thing to do, but we feel like we pulled it off by using themes, samples, techniques and by consciously assessing what did and did not work together.

We feel like there is something for everyone on this record and we're very pleased with the fact that we can offer this to everyone for free. All we ask is that you listen to it with an open mind, share it with your friends and come say hello whenever we play a show in your city. 

So, once again - Thank you to each and every person that showed us support over the last few years. We love working together, and have already discussed plans for a follow up album. 

For now, enjoy ANIMAL!
