A man who is just as comfortable behind a set of decks as he is performing live with his hardware set up, Rustal has performed at some of the most prestigious clubs across Europe including the hallowed ground legendary club Tresor.

Felipe Riquelme aka Nothofagus RS, based in Villarrica, Chile. He begins his career as a DJ in mid-2022, experimenting with different sounds.
 
It is at the beginning of 2023 where he defines his musical style focused on deep and hypnotic techno, developing a dense, dark, electric and energetic sound, thus generating an infinite number of sensations in his DJ set.
In his brief artistic career, he has performed in renowned production companies in the area such as Black Spot & Technoise.
 
He is currently taking his first steps in the world of music production.

Felipe Riquelme aka Nothofagus RS, radicado en Villarrica, Chile. Comienza su carrera como DJ a mediados del año 2022, experimentando en distintos sonidos.
 
Es a comienzos del 2023 donde define su sello musical enfocado en el deep e hypnotic techno, desarrollando un sonido denso, oscuro, eléctrico y enérgico, generando así una infinidad de sensaciones en sus DJ set .
 Se ha presentado en su breve carrera artística en productoras de renombre de la zona tales como Black Spot & Technoise.
 
Actualmente se encuentra dando sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la producción musical.

For the 10th episode of Berlinette, @brunnermartin has invited the Prague-based @pureevil-2.

Eva Falt, hailing from the city of Prague, is a life-long techno aficionado who has recently taken her passion to the next level as a DJ and event organizer within the Weltraum collective. Driven by an insatiable love for the genre and pursuit of perfection, Eva sets the bar high. Each performance she delivers is crafted with attention to detail, striving to create something special and new. In 2023, Eva has performed at the decks of her beloved local venues in Prague, such as Ankali, Bike Jesus, Grid, Swim, and The Cross Club. In 2024, she premiered at Berlin's Zur Klappe. Together with Weltraum, she has co-produced a series of raves that have attracted a stellar line-ups of both local talents and international headliners. The sheer joy of curating complex experiences for the lovely crowds that gather at Weltraum events has become Eva's driving force, fueling her way forward.

In this mix she presents a high-paced techno mix that infuses old-school inspired tracks with her favorite trippy flavor, capturing the energy from the closing sets that have recently become her favorites.

Ksenia Kamikaza (@ksenia_kamikaza), Riga born, settled in Barcelona at the moment, brings her high energy techno trip with broken beats accents to BLVSH followers. Don't expect the same note mix: balancing between fast tempos and dramatic melodies, Ksenia's main goal is to show how different the techno music might be.
In her homeland Latvia, Ksenia is the one behind the biggest raves and electronic music festivals, putting together her female solicitude and unyielding character to promote events and local artists.

In the third episode of Koicast, Sanke invites https://soundcloud.com/samo-rane, who delivers an exclusive one-hour guest mix featuring hypnotic to dark driving techno, showcasing tracks from artists such as Claudio PRC, Metapattern, and Louis The 4th. 

Samo Rane is a DJ/Producer who escaped from Iran in late 2015 due to strict political laws against parties, establishing himself in Berlin thereafter. He founded the radio show, podcast series, and record label “mercyTechno”, advocating for human rights and violence elimination through music. Samo is also a resident DJ at Art Bei Ton and has performed at notable events including CTM-Festival and STAUB at ://about_blank. He also played at various Berlin underground clubs such as Acud Macht Neu, Fiese Remise  and Griessmuehle. As a producer, Samo recently released his new album titled "End of Nightmare" on his label mercyTechno.

KOICAST 03 - Samo Rane

Giri, also known as Gi Napoletano, hails from Naples and delved into electronic music at 13. Influenced by Detroit's Second Wave and the UK techno scene, his sound evolved. He's released tracks on various labels and shared stages with notable artists. In May 2020, amidst Italy's first lockdown, he founded Antiterra, a label embodying the sci-fi concept of a theoretical planet in Earth's orbit, forever eclipsed by the sun.

ANRI’s passion ignited for DJing in 2007, moved to Melbourne in 2010, and since 2014 residing in Berlin. Immediately she has got into the scene, and started organizing underground techno events "Tokyo Redlight", "Moshi Moshi Techno Nacht", and [YO͞ONƏˌSEKS] party.
With years of experience behind the decks on many stages from clubs to festivals, Anri has honed a unique techno sound that moves from experimental and challenging techno to melodic and deep and takes the dance floor on a journey into inner spaces held by her gentle feminine power.

Tributo a Richard Polson.
"May Your Journey Through The Stars Be Peaceful."

Si hablamos de la historia del Techno a mediados de los ‘90 es fundamental la figura de Richard Polson (1969-2006) y su aportación a esta cultura pese a su prematura muerte con 37 años, de la que hoy se cumplen 18 años. Fue uno de los pioneros en crear una nueva línea sonora de techno europeo, tribal, minimalista, oscuro, repetitivo, con funk y texturas abstractas.  

Artistas como Jeff Mills, Claude Young o Ben Sims apostaron por incluir este tipo de sonido en sus sets y pincharlo en la mayoría de clubs y eventos de todo el mundo.
Fundador del sello Surface Records (1997-2019) y co-fundador de Blueprint Records en 1996 junto a James Ruskin, fueron compañeros de estudio y debutaron con su primera producción firmada como Void en 1995. El siguiente año, estrenan el sello Blueprint donde comienzan a lanzar sus primeras producciones bajo el alias Outline y presentan al joven prometedor Oliver Ho (Birdland, Raudive, Life, Broken English Club, Slow White Fall…) quien se encarga de firmar varias referencias en Blueprint y posteriormente en Surface. Durante la primera etapa de ambos labels cabe destacar la participación de artistas como Claude Young (aka Twine), Alexander Kowalski (aka DisX3), Paul Mac, Locutus, Epoch (Ashley Burchett), Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Regis o Archae & Grovskopa.
Richard Polson (Lysander Pearson, Structure, Richard Lahaine, Brendan Ealey) fué mitad del mítico dúo The 65D Mavericks (2000-2006) junto con Nick Dunton (D-56M, Ever Vivid, The Echelon Plan) debutando en la primera referencia de Coda Records en el año 2000. También firmaron juntos algunas referencias bajo el alias de Abelde, Spirit y Dual Unity (con Mark Broom).
En una segunda y última etapa Richard y Nick fundan Ebullition Records (2001) donde sólo se edita una única referencia. Posterior a esa experiencia nace Inceptive Records (2003-2006) con la visión de promocionar a nuevas generaciones de artistas como: Ø [Phase], Nick Wilson, HU, Sys-Ex, CYP o Reeko que aportaron producciones de alto calibre en esta nueva etapa sonora posterior al año 2000, donde se puede apreciar que nuevos horizontes sonoros del Techno se van a explorar durante la siguiente década.

En este mix la mayoría de tracks que se han seleccionado son principalmente de artistas con colaboración directa o de manera paralela en proyectos con Richard Polson, incluyendo tracks del mismo artista y algunos de sus alias.
