Born in Germany, near Frankfurt/Main, @maasym_soptik embodies the essence of entrancing, propulsive techno, interwoven with captivating atmospheric drone elements, all rooted in a foundation of ingenious sound design. Making waves in the scene since 2015, this youthful, now 27 years of age, co-founded the SOPTIK label, while also gracing renowned imprints like "Planet Rhythm," "SUB.tl," MHz, and several others with his distinctive musical creations.

Not confined to studio mastery alone, Maasym has taken his sonic prowess to international dancefloors, leaving a trail of awe-struck audiences in his wake. At "KALT Club" in Strasbourg, he flawlessly weaves together an intricate narrative, employing intelligently crafted and top-tier soundscapes, tantalizing the senses of the receptive crowd. He has graced renowned German venues such as Tanzhaus West, MTW Club, Loft Club, Disco Zwei, Gotec Club, and many more, showcasing his skills as a DJ and leaving his mark without a doubt.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ MALANDRØ 

Albert, also known as Malandrø, developed a strong passion for music and sound from a young age. His musical journey began at the age of 14 when he started playing guitar in a rock band in his hometown of Quito.
Since then, Albert has earned a degree in sound engineering and a diploma as a studio musician. In 2016, he made the momentous decision to relocate to Berlin, where his artistic focus shifted toward electronic music. As a dedicated partygoer who thoroughly enjoys dancing, his mixes consistently deliver music that is meant for the dancefloor.
Stylistically, Malandrø's sound is versatile and continually evolving. However, certain elements remain a constant presence in his mixes. These include mind-bending loops, percussions bursting with infectious grooves, a fusion of raw components and diverse atmospheres, and a seamless blend of both classic and contemporary tracks.

For this week's Global Vibe Radio episode we tap into the musical world of Swedish producer, DJ and Live act Dold, who boasts releases on his own Arsenik Records as well as MindTrip and Blue Hour.

Emerging as one of the leading lights in modern Techno, Patrik Eriksson AKA Dold has risen through the ranks and become both respected and admired, not only in his native homeland of Sweden but across the Electronic music community as a whole.

Alongside live performance partner, Kuf – Eriksson established @arsenik_rec in 2015, an outlet primarily dedicated to housing the pair’s own productions – but that has subsequently developed over the years to welcome in new artists, and as such become a widely supported source of dance-floor focused music.

As a producer, Eriksson’s productions exist at a potent aesthetic crossroads – looking both simultaneously at the more cerebral tenets of those outlier genre’s – namely Ambient, IDM & Electro – and uncompromising loop Techno with an intriguing subtlety – suggestive of a dynamic artist with a rich, deep palette capable of capturing truly unique introspective moments and translating them into an array of sonic experiences.

This young DJ & live performer bears all the hallmarks of Stockholm’s most recent success story – an artist at an exciting intersection in his career with a bright future unraveling. Whilst existing output on Arsenik, Blue Hour and MindTrip might already be turning heads across the Techno landscape – one feels the very best is yet to come.
