Supreme Sarabande

Solo piano composition with rolling arpeggios on Noire Felt piano with plenty of atmospheric reverb and delay. It's origins date back to the 1980s but has been dusted off and bought up to date for YouTube and SoundCloud and to be shared and hopefully enjoyed. Whilst finalising the track I was trying to decide on the cover art and looking though my various images I found this one by my 10-year-old grand-daughter and it just seemed to fit the composition, so the title "Dawn" was born and an experimental video has been created.

Gethsemane

On January 28, 1986, 73 seconds after the launch of mission STS-51-L, the space shuttle Challenger exploded at an altitude of approximately 15 kilometers. All seven astronauts perished: Francis Richard Scobee, Michael Smith, Judith Resnik, Ellison Onizuka, Ronald McNair, Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe. This song is a tribute to these astronauts, whose dream was simply to travel into space. It's my dream, too.

73 Seconds

One of the things I love about writing music is when you have an idea that sits for ages, quietly, waiting for you to figure it out. This was such a piece - I'd almost forgotten about it, then messed around with it and realised it was great. Title inspired by reading Stephen King on my back step.
