w-lar (pronounced ['WEL - 'AH] ) is a London-based producer-artist.
His long-term interest in music began in childhood starting with piano lessons, listening to Video Game soundtracks, and making music on a game from the original PlayStation titled “Music 2000”.

At around age eleven, he began making music with FL Studio and experimented with many of his influences, such as Hip-Hop and various forms of alternative music. Branching from solely being a music producer, he began incorporating his writing and vocals once he chose to pursue a music career in adulthood. As an English Literature and Creative Writing graduate, w-lar intends to use music to delve into an intricate world of sonics narratively.
