Follow-up to 2011’s debut album, Don’t Look Indoors on Crystalline Recordings.

Past commentators have noted that though Air Cav live and work in the city, a city so famed for its musical output, they have never appeared of the city: never a band to claim current trends as their own, not ones for striking up allegiances with other of-the-moment bands to declare a new movement.

The band ploughs its own furrow. It always has done.

So now, three years and two weddings on from the release of their debut, Air Cav returns with Procession, an album that takes a look at the city from the viewpoint of the biased bystander. At its heart is the event that engages us all, the carnival that appears on the horizon, takes us in and captivates our senses, leaving us bereft when it departs.


Forestry Commission is the brainchild of Gary Lee, a British man living in Sweden and making music in his spare time.

A strange and daring exploration of Sweden through avant-garde concepts such as "saunas", "freedom" and "time". What makes a sauna a "real" sauna? Is freedom really what we wanted it to be? Does time really flow differently inside a train station? The Kitchen Session provides no answers, probably not even the above questions, but the experience of a country in a desperate identity-crisis is nonetheless striking. Maybe.

The Generalissimos were a sometimes 4-piece, sometimes 3-piece, genre-defining band active between 2002 and 2010. What genre they defined exactly is up for debate but one thing that is certain is that they were instrumental in influencing the south Manchester sound of the noughties. Uncompromising in their vision to create imperfect pop, The Generalissimos enjoyed 8 years of prolific music making. Some of that music can be found right here. Their live shows were legendary, in part because the band would stick rigidly to their mantra of playing 'face-meltingly fast and pants-shittingly loud.'
