Mert Bindebir's first debut album is a sprawling and ambitious work that draws on his arrival in St. Petersburg, leaving his homeland Turkey. The aesthetic landscapes and weather of St. Petersburg quickly built the structure for the EP.

The first track is divided into three parts, and each section represents a different period. The first phase is recorded when Bindebir came to Russia, evoking a feeling of longing and departure. The second section is more about the setbacks and challenges he faced. This part mainly focuses on a more intimate and personal exploration of Bindebir's new life and experiences. The track becomes more dynamic and reflective with every minute. The integration of electronic elements symbolizes the artist's arrival and adaptation. The last section, characterized by atmospheric textures and ethereal vocal samples, reflects personal growth and inner reflection, capturing the transformational nature of the path traversed by the artist.

The second track of the album is titled "Fallrise." It is a made-up word combination of the two words "fall" and "rise."
"There are always two sides," he says.
The composition "Fallrise" is based on atmospheric textures recorded during the artist's travels with his girlfriend. These textures contribute to the overall atmosphere and emotional depth of the track. The main instrument used in the composition is the piano, enriched with various effects that add layers of complexity and intensity to the music. This captures the artist's experiences in moments of rise and fall, creating an immersive and internally reversed sound experience.
The track ends with the sound of his girlfriend sewing at home. She is a tailor.

And he understands: he is now part of this city, and this is a new beginning for him.
So one door closes, yet another one opens.
