Merv xx Gotti is the award-winning Canadian multi-genre artist, best known for his indie singer-songwriter dream-pop project, “Guitar Songs”. 

His debut solo release, “Guitar Songs EP”, released in March 2024 ahead of his 5-show debut at SXSW (Austin, TX). Since its release, the EP has amassed over 300,000 streams on Spotify and charted on Earshot’s Top 30 campus radio charts for eight consecutive weeks.  
The EP’s first single, “Jiujitsu,” was played on over 21 CBC stations, Canada’s national public radio and television broadcaster, as well as on over a dozen campus radio stations across Canada and the US - the largest syndication pickup of a Saskatchewan song in the past five years.

In the past year alone, Merv xx Gotti has toured across the continent, showcasing at premier international festivals such as SXSW, NXNE, and BreakOut West, performing in major music cities like New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Toronto, and sharing the stage with famed Canadian music icons such as Chantal Kreviazuk, Great Lake Swimmers, and Big Sugar.

Additionally, Merv xx Gotti is the director of the Canadian artist and DJ collective and independent music label Trifecta Sound Co., and serves as the archivist for Toronto’s premier community-led internet radio station, ISO Radio.
