In lenzmans own words: “Dan Stezo has been my homeboy since day dot” and the pairing between the two is cemented by a shared love for hip hop that is very evident on this track, Stezo’s distinctive low slung vocal adds huge character to Lenzman’s production on the track.

With vocals courtesy of Manchester’s finest MC DRS, mixing his unique ability to rap and sing to great effect. DRS concerns himself with the topic of no more bullsh*t in his pursuit of creation and as the song says he ‘Just can’t take no more’ Lenzman weaves a great instrumental for DRS to animate with subtle keys and musicality illuminating the beat.

After launching to great acclaim, The North Quarter returns for chapter two of its journey: Lenzman's 'Earth Tones EP'.

Consisting of eight new tracks (plus an additional two instrumentals), and featuring a host of collaborators, both old and new, the release carries directly on from the 'All For You EP'. Lenzman once again melds his Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz influences with his take on Drum & Bass to bring together an EP of heartfelt inner city music.

'In My Mind' sees the producer team up with IAMDDB, a Neo Soul singer who is part of a new wave of exciting upcoming artists from Manchester. Her unique voice and disconnection from Drum & Bass gives the two a chance to forge a new direction.

'Earth Tones' sees further collaborations with well-established vocalist Steo on 'Tender Love', and with Metalheadz veteran Jubei on 'Park Hill'. Lenzman
Lenzman is a DJ and producer who exhibits tremendous talent in the many peripheral footholds of Drum & Bass. The course his career has taken in the last few years is an enviable journey many only strive to achieve. As testament to a dynamic musical upbringing, Lenzman’s style and sound has coalesced from his early involvement with a Hiphop collective, an ongoing love affair with Soul music, and having witnessed the life and demise of London's Blue Note club.

Dan Stezo
Originally started in the Hiphop scene, Dan crafted his style and microphone skills with approval of local soundsystems. When long time confidant Lenzman introduced Dan to Drum & Bass he found a new passion and began to start making a name in the Dutch scene. To broaden his horizon Dan explored different genres and performed at all the top Dutch venues and festivals. Dan Stezo released tracks Dan Stezo released music on various Dutch imprints such as BMKLTSCH RCRDS, Hardsoul Pressings and Spinnin Records.
