Born in a loudspeaker and cradled by the subwoofer, https://soundcloud.com/mirzika produces a mix of techno and trance where rumbling bass lines, acidic synths and dreamy melodies are combined, and seeks through his music to mix the energy of the groove and the strength of the emotion. He has previously released a remix of Mary J. Blige's classic Family Affair on TFD Records, and regularly self-releases his productions. He is now based in Berlin where he co-manages https://soundcloud.com/moto_perpetuo, a bi-monthly techno mix and event platform.

In the city of Berlin, where so much of the offering comes with an inevitable side of self-consciousness, Georgian DJ Salome’s fast and fiery hardstyle trance is a joyous afront to mass-produced and solemn sounds. With releases on FTP, Mechatronica, Darknet and Lobster Theremin, multiple appearances on Hör as well as a flood of international bookings, her tongue-in-cheek bent clearly strikes a chord. Her climactic and hedonistic toying with the sillier sounds of 90s dance caters to a growing number of fans who tire of the limitations of standardised club culture, a rising tide in which Herrensauna’s prodigal daughter is poised to lead the charge with her radical measure of fresh and utopian rave: Bassiani Podcast 125 is her resplendent and dizzying manifesto.

DT PREMIERE: Autumns - Public Toilet Panic Attack (B1980 Remix) [Exterminador] (2022)

2021 was the year in which we could once again enjoy a long-standing musical project like Harlem, and it was precisely on the Italian label Veyl where this Swedish duo signed Bait, the most recent release of which we are aware. Already in its day it dazzled us with the rough sound of this album and with a very updated style, in which this duo formed by Martin Thomasson and Johan Skugge intensify their sonic habitat until they manage to take the listener into a rough and murky landscape.

Harlem has been constantly evolving, and this condition is appreciated in their next release, which unlike their previous album diversifies more in terms of rhythmic structures, we can appreciate how the project adopts a creative character based on several sonic concepts.  Tracer is a six-track that will be released on the Colombian label Body Musick, owned by Filmmaker.

Tracer, the track that gives its name to the release, shows a sonic range that can transport us back to Bait, however, evidence that this album is more dynamic and forceful, as it adds, among other things, a more techno-like punch. Polygraph Eye already points you towards an industrial landscape, as do Chew It, Mesh, Salt Your Wound and Peeler, although each track has its own personality and its own rhythmic system.

After the stoppage we have suffered due to the current problem in the supply of physical discs, we have decided to release this compilation in digital format to overcome the material obstacles that hinder the release of music.
After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of a conscious awareness of the spectacularized and speculative electronic music that prevails today.A conscious and proud stance regarding the consumerist concepts of macro festivals and selfies that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden underneath, and on the other, the act of throwing away the stone that was keeping it crushed.
This album brings together a few artists, some to be discovered and others more established, but who share a common denominator, powerful sound and a challenge to established consumption clichés. We want to thank all the artists who are part of the compilation for giving shape and meaning to the idea that orbits this release.
