A curated series where we commission artists to make an hour long mix of whatever inspires them to experiment, produce, play out and what they listen to.

"This mix reflects back on the past year of personal releases, including tracks from the ‘Beneath the Surface Remixed’ EPs and my entry for the Monkeytown 10 Year Anniversary Compilation. In keeping with the Mesh theme, a collaboration between myself and Max Cooper (that could be seen as the start of my journey to this label) sits alongside music that’s inspired me throughout the lockdown period. From abstract and ambient to driving, epic techno, I had these tunes turned up loud in the studio and imagined what it would feel like to play this set in a club. I hope in the absence of any opportunity to do that at the moment, this mix helps transport the listener to that place we are all missing!" - Alex Banks

Mesh Series 07: Alex Banks

Disc jockey duo with a penchant for expansive soundscapes and experimental dance music.

London-based duo Glittcherz (pronounced ‘glitch-er-z’) are DJs and radio residents blurring the lines between rave energy and cinematic depth. Rooted in underground electronic music, their immersive sets weave together driving bass, intricate rhythms and psychedelic soundscapes, inviting listeners into a world where unpredictability is expected.

Embracing fluidity, these two move through a plethora of genres, fusing the weight of techno, dubstep, drum & bass and electro with the textures of ambient, world music and electronica. Hints of jazz and classical elements surface organically, adding musicality to their sound.

Whether igniting dancefloors or curating intimate listening experiences, they embrace the full spectrum of sound, aiming to create something truly transportive.
