Mesh Mix Series 008: Lindred 

A curated series where we commission artists to make an hour long mix of whatever inspires them to experiment, produce, play out and what they listen to.

 "This mix is a reflection of the work I have being developing as a sound practitioner for my new conceptual wellness sessions; the Soundspa. I present here some of the sonic vocabulary that I create from field recordings, digitally processed abstract sounds, and lush drones. 

During sessions at the Soundspa, the deep listener lays in between four speakers placed around their head and a subwoofer at their feet. With the aid of my voice, I bring them into a relaxed state and take them on an aural journey that is often times met with feelings of exhilaration, waves of body disorientation, and most excitingly: otherwordly wonder.

When listening to this mix I suggest to listen to it at a gentle volume, as if it’s a background or with your eyes closed in a comfy place with headphones. The sounds have been spatialize to move around your head, adding an extra element of mystique - and you may be surprised to find your mind wandering off and creating images or touching memories you have forgotten. The tracks are wedged between soundscapes of my own" - Lindred
