In his own words, the innovation-driven producer and visual artist opts for a “psychedelic techno adventure” featuring tracks from JakoJako, Barker, Oliver Coates, Rival Consoles, ANNĒ and Venetian Snares. “Lots of melodies and beautiful feelings to get lost in," Cooper begins, "but also lots of unexpected turns and mind-mangling soundworlds, and plenty of genre-hopping so you never quite know what's around the next corner."

A curated series where we commission artists to make a mix of whatever inspires them to experiment, produce and what they listen to.

The latest Mesh mix arrives in the form of bristolian artist and producer, Thomas Ridley. Cutting his teeth in the world of analogue electronic composition and live performance. Thomas takes a collage-like approach to recording and resampling a small collection of analogue instruments, in search of compositions that are imaginative and unwieldy. 

This mix showcases the dark, often euphoria inducing, clubbier sounds to his musical palette, and at intervals applying a psy-bending-repetitive blend of beats, tones, vocals and stabs. Listen loud.

Ilona Maras is back to rattle the warehouse walls with her latest release, "Open Your Mind," dropping on The YellowHeads' powerhouse label, Reload Black. Known for her pulse-pounding productions and jaw-dropping sets, Ilona has been making serious waves in the underground scene in 2025. I mixed this album with Zoe Richardson, who I ran the PM Scientists night with at Smithfield’s in East London and it includes killer tracks from DJ Krust, Photek & Technical Itch.
