Walking down 7th Avenue on October 28th 2023, around 6 pm. Even though it's autumn, the temperature is high. It feels like summer. It's very humid and the street is crowded.
My phone (tucked in my pocket) starts to record on its own when I reach Times Square. 

The resulting one and a half minute long recording is the material for this particular soundscape, which I think captures the eeriness and the uncanny feeling I had that day. All sounds were processed on a Roland SP-404A sampler and recorded live to a stereo track. Finally, more than a year after the initial idea, I can share this concept about the seasons with you.
It consists of several songs merged into a single track. The initial idea came about when I released the song Winter's Ending.
All the tracks are published individually here, with the exception of the interlude Maj (an improvised draft from 2022)
and the track Last Summer, which was completed recently.
Below is the timeline for the entire song.
