Disaro Records was started in 2007 by Robert Disaro in Houston, Texas, and it helped launch the latest global electronic music movement. During “Phase 1″ the label helped launch some of the fastest rising electronic artists, such as SALEM, oOoOO and //TENSE//. 

Started in 2009, Route 017 is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Kelsey Haugh. This project encompasses a fifty-year-old accordion, 1980s casiotone, glockenspiel, toy piano, and various synthesizers.

The story of MODERN WITCH began in 2007 in Denver, Colorado, when graphic artist Mario Zoots, singer Kristy Fenton and house veteran Kamran Khan started recording experimental music together on an old VHS camera. In the space of a few years, a couple of very limited tape and CD/R releases on labels such as Disaro and Clan Destine Records, and a series of spooky performances both in Europe and on the American continent, the trio has become a true underground reference for creepy, ritualistic dance music, in the muddy but oh so fascinating waters between DarkWave and Minimal Synth.
