The afternoon sun shines into the room. The background music is the vertical rippling of curtains. The sparkling breeze foreshadows the coming of winter.
You're so cute, I can't quite tell. I've met you so many times, a new you and a nostalgic you, among the fallen leaves.
Not a fantasy, not a twinkle, not a fleeting moment, not a moment. Not a photograph, not a movie, not a painting, not a novel.
There's still so much between us. Walls covered in layers of ivy. We need to take good care of them to get to a place with a good view.

Explores how we project unacknowledged inner qualities onto romantic partners. Through New Zealand nature imagery, the song charts the journey from idealised love (seeing missing parts of ourselves in another) through disillusionment (borrowed strength fading) to psychological maturity. The core insight: the courage, grace, and wholeness we seek in lovers already exists within us, sleeping like seeds. Love matures when we reclaim these projections and meet as equals—"not your missing piece, but your equal in this wild garden of becoming." From my upcoming book "Breakfast with Jung" Chapter 5: Anima and Animus.

MUSIC MADE IN CANADA: Music has been a large part of my life since my teen years when I started playing guitar.
