“She Chose Peace” is dedicated to my mother,
who passed away from lung cancer eleven years ago.
Her courage, her love, and her quiet strength live on — in memory, in music, and in me.

It’s about love that breaks us and saves us, wars fought far from home and battles fought deep within, about grief we carry and grace we try to find along the way.

It’s the sound of boots on a wooden porch, of a low, raspy voice telling the truth because there’s no reason to lie anymore. It’s a celebration of the beauty in imperfection and a reminder that some of life’s greatest songs are the ones played simply, honestly, and without apology.

MUSIC MADE IN CANADA: Music has been a large part of my life since my teen years when I started playing guitar. Used to play popular pop and country songs in bars, songs written by other artists but for past couple decades have focused entirely on writing and producing my own songs across a number of genres: pop, country, blues, and more recently dream pop and what I'm calling whiskey blues dream pop, a style that merges the two and that seems complimentary to my ear. I believe each style can sound good and give people pleasure: that's my goal in writing. Now I produce sounds featuring both male and female vocals as the lyrics dictate; variety is the spice of...well, you know. Thanks for listening.
