Next up for the podcast series we have Alt8 for you.

Alt8, born Evan Marshall is a DJ/Producer from Ireland who perpetuates his craft via his own interpretation on some of the harder shades of Techno. Respected for his indelible high energy DJ sets, Alt8 can set the tone in any musical scenario with his broad knowledge of electronic music and diverse taste in different styles. You can expect two sides to Alt8's DJ sets with an ecstatic blend of dark & gritty Techno clashing with euphoric synths & pads for that special moment. Fast paced Industrial drums with lots of rave influences from the 90's and early 2000's such as Shranz are evident in his style. Leading into 2021 Alt8 has begun to form a distinct sound from mixing hard Techno drums or Shranz like grooves with soaring melodies and trance like synths.  Musical influences come from artists such as DJ Rush, Chris Liebing, Klangkuenstler, Shlomo, Rebekah & Slam.

Most notable releases to date have been remixing Rebekah's track "Darkness My Old Friend" from her Ghost Stories EP.

Based in London (UK), RAM initial musical influences derive from punk; particularly as a guitar player and producer in his home country (Portugal). Inspired by London underground parties Kaos London and HTBX, RAM got interest in techno a few years ago. Then became a prominent figure in the London queer techno scene firstly as a PR, promoter and co-host at HTBX where RAM then developed as a DJ. With a music style that blends rave, hardcore, groovy, acid, old school and industrial sounds - RAM aims for natural synergy waves, always for dance floor and unity. RAM is continuously evolving as a DJ, performing act and producer; looking for collaborations with other artists and collectives.

turning his most inspired ancestral sounds into his sets where his style lies with a mixture of industrial sounds with strong bass and high melodies turning into a lot of magic, pressed in some national and international labels such as: Refluxed Records, Industrial Techno United, REVOLT , Trau-ma, Vector Functions Etc, his sound has crossed borders, playing in Tresor Berlin, Hong Kong, Spain etc, his music has been supported by artists such as:
David Meiser, Fernanda Martin's, Mørbeck, Robert S, KONTAL The Yellowheadz, has shared the stage with: Christian Wunsh, Boris S. Niereich, Ricardo Garduno, he also promotes the local scene with his Armenia Techno collective.

POSSESSION PODCAST #97 - WAST

WAST est le projet d’un jeune Dj-producteur breton résidant à Rennes.
À ses débuts, WAST se produit en free party bretonne où il mixe essentiellement du Hardcore. Il intègre alors l’association Dolmen Sound en 2015 avec laquelle il se produit pour la première fois officiellement dans divers bars et club du Morbihan ; WAST y forgera ainsi son style et se tournera vers l’Acid Techno.
Il décide ensuite de se concentrer sur son projet personnel et de développer ses propres productions.
Toujours influencé par les différents genre musicaux et artistes qu'il découvre au fil des raves auxquelles il participe en Bretagne et ailleurs , WAST vous propose au travers de ses sets et productions, une techno brute mélangeant sonorités Acid, Rave et Industrielles.
En 2019, il intègre la Submarine Project en résident/booking ainsi que l’agence de booking de La Quarantaine : 40N Agency

Though the Korean-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer isn’t too much of a talker. And he doesn’t need to be. He prefers letting his records speaking for him, letting their beautifully crafted voices, made of snares, high-hats, and bass drums tell his stories. Stories to be heard at night in the dense dark of the dance-floor, soaked in sweat, covered in haze. Messiahwaits is a musical artist through and through. He creates droning atmospheres, fused with repetitive, jacking rhythms and filled with a dark and unsettling aura. He plays with expectations and breaks tonal conventions in his very own way. And it works. And you are going to want more.   

Messiahwaits, a DJ who defies genre boundaries with a bold proclamation: “Fuck the Genre."

He would describe his set as ‘Hyper New Rave’ and believes in breaking free from the confines of a single style. His sets, clocking in at 150-160bpm, seamlessly blend Hard Techno, Hard House, industrial, groovy, Schranz, Psy-trance, dub, acid, and classic Trance sounds. Rejecting monotony, he aims to take his audience on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, offering a musical journey. For him, the mission is simple: “Make People Dancing." His key idea? "You Should Feel What I Feel."
