"It is with the deepest respect that we have recorded this song, which is perhaps the most sacred chant from the Huni Kuin people, an indigenous tribe of the Brazilian Amazon. It is traditionally used for the purpose of healing. Also as an anthem of the world movement of native ceremonial culture, Noku Mana has already taken many forms. This version is a blend of the traditional Huni Kuin song with melody of the classical Huayno hit "Ojos Azules" by Manuel Cazasola Huancco. We claim no rights or authority on neither of these songs or even the idea of putting them together. This recording is only a pure and heartfelt ode to the force of Yube Yuxibu and tribute to the Huni Kuin people.
