apaj 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒 @Fusion 2023 | Seebühne

Having been attending Origin Festival for over a decade, this was a dream booking come true! South Africa's premier psychedelic festival and I had the honour of kicking the Beats Floor off on Saturday morning. It was an early start just after 8am, so I selected tracks to ease everyone into their day: whether they were grooving on the floor, lounging next to the river a couple meters away having their morning swim or chilling in their campsites just over the river, this selection was bound to get them ready for the madness of the day that lay ahead.

The mix features a ton of new releases as well as some throwback classics (both tracks that make regular appearances in my sets and a couple I haven't played for a while). I hope you enjoy listening back to this as much as I had putting it together and playing it. And big thanks for all the love from the dancefloor and those that made it out - was so epic seeing you all moving and having fun out there!

In charge of the sunset decks is the wicked duo from Paris, who produce, do a live act as well as DJ. When it comes to putting together a mixtape of downtempo and peaktempo vibes look no further than these two.
