This work presents a processed field recording of Capsule A1305 from the Nakagin Capsule Tower, currently exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art in The Many Lives of the Nakagin Capsule Tower, curated by Evangelos Kotsioris.

The recording was made by Fikri Izza and Matt Goff using improvised microphones on an iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 11. The raw material was then edited and arranged in the Digital Audio Workstation Studio One 5, forming a seven-minute soundscape collage of ambient exhibition noise, visitor movement, and fragments from the opening ceremony. To overcome the inherent limitations of the recording devices and ensure an immersive clarity, the audio was further processed through the Amplitube 5 amp simulator, employing its pedal compressor to balance high and low signals and stabilize dynamics across the composition.

The final work is presented in stereo: the left channel emphasizes observational field recordings during the exhibition, while the right channel foregrounds speeches and atmosphere from the opening.
Without advancing a critical argument, the piece functions as an act of preservation — an attempt to capture how it feels to stand with the capsule in its restored state, relocated into a new context, and surrounded by new audiences.
