VA Fragments of Comet is a compilation featuring various artists, with their own unique styles of dark, psycore, slambient and experimental compiled by Oxomo, mastered by CinderVomit, artwork by BixBite!

We want to spread some new music in this Perseid Meteor stream week which is every year happens and one of the most famous meteor stream! But we also want to inform about meteorites, comets, Taurid Meteor Stream and misunderstood human history. Enjoy the music and falling star show until we are still here and safe!

Our knowledge of the origins of humankind and ancient cultures is still shrouded in mystery. Recent discoveries in ancient architecture reveal that the conventional narratives about our history may be fundamentally flawed. The colossal structures of ancient civilizations—such as the Mayan pyramids, the megaliths of the Stone Age, the Serpent Mound, Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, and the Egyptian pyramids—may have been built not only as monuments but as time capsules, designed to withstand the ravages of natural disasters and convey crucial messages to future generations.

Past civilizations were focused on space and studied astronomy for a reason. These ancient peoples were profoundly attuned to the cosmos, studying the heavens with an urgency that suggests they were responding to celestial threats. Throughout Earth's history, catastrophic events, such as impacts from meteoroids, comets, or fragments of colossal comets, have nearly obliterated humanity and exhausted countless species..

These event nearly wiped out more than half of humankind and led to the extinction of many species that lived on Earth at that time. Ancient cultures likely attempted to warn us by leaving important messages for the future through these monumental structures, anticipating that a similar comet event might return. Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, with its astronomical alignments and carvings, may have been constructed to mark significant celestial events and potential future impacts. This, along with similar structures like the Mayan pyramids, suggests that ancient peoples might have embedded warnings about cosmic dangers in their architecture.

The timing of a potentially catastrophic asteroid impact on Earth is difficult to predict with certainty.. Meteor showers occur every year, but a major impact event happens only twice every 26.000 years. Research shows that the last major event occurred at the end of the Ice Age, around 12.800 years ago. Therefore, the next significant impact could occur within the next 200 years ..! We should be aware of this potential threat and prepare future generations for this possible tragic event…Or our ‘modern’ civilization easily will disappear like a trail of dusty debris left by a comet ..

We hope that by exploring diverse perspectives and ways of life, humanity will evolve spiritually, technologically, and philosophically. This evolution could lead to a life that is not only freer but also more sensitive, artistic, and harmonious with nature, allowing us to live on this beautiful planet for a longer time…
