Afterwork is pleased to announce the release of our third EP, Neutral, available on September 15, 2025.

This release comes from Sebastián, known artistically as Nøctem, a Colombian DJ and producer based in Barcelona. With a deeply personal approach and refined production, Neutral is a testament to the artist's talent and sonic evolution.

Across six tracks, Nøctem guides us on an immersive journey where hypnotic techno and dynamic grooves converge with soundscapes that evoke both euphoria and nostalgia. Each track is designed to progressively release energy, creating a sonic narrative that captivates from the first moment.

This EP is a clear example of Nøctem's vision and the spirit that defines Afterwork: music with identity, depth, and purpose.

Solanum pseudocapsicum is a nightshade species with mildly poisonous fruit. It is commonly known as the Jerusalem cherry,Madeira winter cherry, or, ambiguously, "winter cherry". These perennials can be grown decoratively as house plants, but in some areas of South Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand it is regarded as a weed.



The plant is perennial in zones up to USDA 8. Native to Peru and Ecuador, they can survive frosts and cold weather. They generally live up to 10 years, producing fruit usually in their second or third year, and every year after that. They are congeners of tomatoes and the fruit is extremely similar to cherry tomatoes in taste and texture, and are therefore easily confused with them.

The Jerusalem cherry's poison is primarily solanocapsine, which is similar to other alkaloids found in their genus, such as solanine and atropine. Although the toxin is poisonous, it is generally not life-threatening to humans. It may cause gastric problems, including vomiting and gastroenteritis as referenced in the obsolete scientific name S. ipecacuanha (roughly "ipecac nightshade").

Jerusalem cherries are possibly poisonous to cats and some birds. Though Jerusalem cherry is distributed by certain birds in the wild – both where native and where introduced, e.g., in Australia by the pied currawong (Strepera graculina) – most popular pet birds, namely parrots and relatives, are not immune to its poison.

‘’I was on vacation with my grandparents. They had this bush in their garden. I found it so beautiful and appetizing that I wanted to eat it. One day I asked my grandmother if I could eat it. "Of course not!" she said. She explained that this shrub, Solanum Pseudocapsicum (called "Love Apple" in Europe) is very toxic and deadly for animals.’’

It is with great pleasure that we present our new compilation
Operation Midnight Climax compiled by Grainripper. With the
combination of different rhythms, patterns, styles, and, speed you
get a full pack of the Darkpsy experimental experience. To
understand how the roots of the psychedelic movement were
implanted for the first time in our culture, we invite you to take a
deeper look at the story behind Operation Midnight Climax.
Operation Midnight Climax is a top-secret mind-control program, in
which CIA operatives began dosing civilians with hallucinogenic drugs
to study the effects of LSD on unconsenting individuals. In the mid50s, CIA agents were assigned to run two “safe houses” for LSD
testing in Ney York & San Francisco. They distributed LSD, knockout
drops, and marijuana to the “guests” using food, drinks, and
cigarettes. Sex workers on the CIA payroll were used to lure clients to
the safehouses where they were secretly given a wide range of
hallucinogenic drugs. After 14 years of an Ex-CIA, agent wrote a
report about Operation Midnight Climax.
“It would become supreme irony that the CIA’s enormous search for
weapons among drugs would wind up helping to create the
wandering, uncontrollable minds of the counterculture."
