۞ॐHanewata (Jakob Saß) is a Darkpsy and Psycore project based in the northeastern region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. From an early age, Jakob was introduced to music through his family and gained his first experiences with various instruments during childhood. As a teenager, his focus gradually shifted toward electronic music, starting with techno and later gravitating toward psytrance.


At the age of 16, he began mixing his own sets and soon took his first steps into music production. A pivotal moment came in 2018 when he attended a Goa Gil Gathering, a profound experience that solidified his path toward fast-paced, ritualistic, and mind-expanding sounds.


Since then, Hanewata has evolved into an artistic expression of a sonic journey that moves uncompromisingly between dark atmospheres and shamanic energy. His productions are a dive into the deepest layers of consciousness, raw, intense, and always in tune with the pulse of the night.ॐ۞

METACORE 2019
